I finished my 2100 hours at College of Hair Design and therefore finished my time in cosmetology school. This is a photo of me at my walk down (we literally walk down the stairs and everyone cheers that we're finished!)
This means I left my 2 bests from hair school...yes there were tears. I'm so thankful to have met these girlies and don't know what I would have done if it weren't for us leaning on each other to get through the madness!!
Here are some of the wonderful people that helped me learn everything I know about cosmetology! I'm so thankful to have met and worked with all of these wonderful instructors and a few that I had in the beginning. It was a fast but wonderful 14 months and I know that I'll have some great friends in this group too.
WOO HOO!!! My official diploma! :) Next up was taking my state licensing exam...EEK!! Off to the Millard Airport (yes...this is where we take the test...WEIRD.) It went really well and I passed the exam with a 93% and a week later my license was here and I started to work. I got a job at Supercuts a few blocks down from my school. It was so scary getting started but the girls are all amazing and so so helpful. I am loving it so far!
Almost a month after my walk down was our graduation ceremony. Here is a photo of me and the girls that I graduated with. This was one of my last days back out of school. LOL! I started school again that Monday.
So where am I now? I've graduated cosmetology school, quit my part time job at Best Buy, started my part time job at Supercuts, and back in school full time for Esthetics. I'm loving it all and keeping very busy. I'll try to be better about checking in from here on out but appreciate all of you that have checked back to see where I'm at. :)
